Hi Chuck

Well done, I'll set some links up on the VODA ebsite and the UK Vega Site.
You will find it takes all your time once you get into it......

Cheers

Hi Chuck,

this is great. Finally we AVA members have our
own site - I consider this a declaration of Independence
from the Brits (just kidding, Steve!)

Hi Seb

I hope so too otherwise we will send another Army over to keep you ruffians
in check!!

I have now put the necessary links on the VAGB Website so you can go
straight over to the AVA site. Good luck with the site, great to have
another Vega site join the Vega Ring........

Cheers to all

I live in Vancouver. My boat is moored at Sewell's Marina, Horseshoe Bay.

I can arrange sailing time during the week and weekends but cannot sail
alone. I managed to break both my arms and a hip a 2 years ago. The result
of which is that I cannot "jump" off my boat onto the dock to tie it up.
The impact of "jumping" even 2 feet causes me to say "oh darn" (or other
bowling words) very loudly and land in a writhing heap on the dock. Other
than that no problems with mobility or handling sails etc. on the boat.
Crew duties would be limited to getting off the boat with line in hand and
pull the boat close enough to the dock so I can get off and help tie it up.

I'm not crazy about freezing my buns off but will sail in just about
anything short of a downpour.

Any takers?|Garry|
