Antifouling: Transducer, grounding plate, prop

I also posed these questions on the Cape Dory Board. I hope no one minds that I am also posting these questions here as well. I have always valued the input here from Maine Sail.

Aside from bottom paint, which will go on within the week, I'd like to ask for input on these three special antifouling situations.

1. The transducer is a plastic thru-hull on a fairing block. Pettit barnacle preventer spray perhaps? I have used this before. What is everyone else using? I am on the Chesapeake.

2. The grounding plate on the starboard side of the keel. I was able to get all of the remnants of the barnacles off today. The plate is now clean and bright. I am believe this stays "as is," with no other protection, Correct?

3. The prop. I have been using the spray Pettit Barnacle preventer. An experienced sailor on the Cape Dory Board had previously suggested Rustoleum Zinc Primer, for a fraction of the cost of the Pettit? Ant thoughts?

Thanks for your advice everyone!

As for number one, pettit hydrocoat does not bother the transducer and our hull looked newly painted after last season on the Chesapeake.
