I was out today with my new battery and it turned out to be the starter as the problem. Meanwhile, my friend was walking on the dock looking at the other boats and told me about another C22 in a slip about 4 boats down and the other side of the dock. Now I've got to meet the owner and compare notes. I'm hoping the marina office can give me a way to contact him without just waiting to run into him at the dock.

Considering how many C22s were sold, it's not surprising.

We have 3 here,.and I know of 1 at another marina.

Just leave a note on his/her boat, so they see it next time they board.

Having someone with the same boat can definitely be a help. We bought a bigger boat last year and are lucky enough to have a dockmate with the same model that is a few years newer. Lots of insider info gleaned so far.

We started off with three Cat 22's at our marina: 1 original design, 1 New Design and my 2004 MK-II. Added two more New Design's last summer. Always fun when you show up at the marina and there's another Cat 22 tied up in a slip. We've created a group text in order to keep in touch with each other, so word gets out pretty quickly when a "newbie" shows up! :)
