Adler Barbour Cold Machine

The original 1991 DCM-12L Adler Barbour Cold Machine fridge on our P42 stopped working. It happened a few weeks ago when shore power was cut off and our house bank dropped below the 8.9 volt control module cutoff. The fridge would not start running when the house bank returned to normal operation.

Anyone know how to check to see whether the control module is still good? I have a volt meter, but the documentation that came with the unit does not have a wiring diagram. The control module connects to the condenser fan, thermostat and compressor.

Try the easy stuff first
turn off the CB to the reefer, ground the positive feed to the reefer control module. Should be the larger red wire in the harness. Reconnect the harness and turn on the CB.
I've seen lots of weird stuff when electric circuits try to start with low volts.

Thanks

Thank you Bill and Woody. I'll give it a try. I plan to call WAECO in the morning and talk to one of their tech guys. They have always been very helpful. I'll let you know what I find out.
