Well fellow sailors, I have followed your advice, put prebend in the mast, tunned the rigging, put 5 inches of rake in the mast, new sails, new botom job, added a whisker pole and wallah! we are moving up in the fleet. I mean to tell you I have WW'ed (wallet whipped) this puppy. No amount of effort or money is too much to win a 25 cent blue ribbon. A salty seadog guru has advised that the reason that I did so well with the 155% and so poor with the 110% was that my Genoa tracks were too far outboard for my 110%. Has any one added tracks for the working jib? If so how far inboard, how far back, what length, and did they help your pointing ability. Any response and advice will be appreciated because by following your advice we finished 3rd in the last race. Charlie

H34 Inboard Tracks

Charlie...The previous owner of my H34 added inboard tracks for the 110% jib. He removed the forward half of the cabin trunk grab rail and replaced it with T-Track about 3 feet in length. I just transfer my sheet block over to that track and lead the sheet directly back to the winch. Seems to help pointing when the sail is reefed. The best affect on pointing was buying a new main from Doyle. JoeO
