As we all have learned, our boat's hull are huge sound boxes capable of amplifying and resonating sound. So here is my question...has anyone found a way to cushion your A/C unit mounts in such a way as to significantly reduce the sound it makes during operation?

There is a vibration dampening material. It is made a very pliable rubber. You can pick it up at Grainger. It is used for heavy machinery vibration. You can easily cut with a razor blade. I posted a picture of it on the floor. my unit is sitting on top of it before it was installed in the boat. It comes in a 4 x 8 sheet.That I know of.
