9.8 mercury prop options

I run a 1981 Mercury 110, 9.8hp outboard as a kicker on my southcoast 22. It is more engine than necessary, but I had in the garage already. The prop that is on it has been in sad shape for years and it crossed paths with my rudder and bent the blade tips badly, so it's due for new one.

Michigan Wheel offers a 9x9 2 blade or 9x7 3 blade. would there be any benefit to one or the other?

The 3 blade will provide more power at lower speeds to help push through wind and currents, the 2 blade be faster in calm conditions but may not be able to spin fast enough for good speed when confronted with wind/currents. In this situation, go with the 3 blade (assuming both will allow your engine to reach maximum rpn in calm water).
