This year included the first of the two best days of boat ownership.

These (like Jacktar's excellent pics above!) were all taken in the Florida panhandle. What a great place to sail. One of the two best areas in Florida, along with the desolate stretch of Everglades coastline between Marco Island and the Keys.

Sadly, as you can see, the marinas are REALLY overcrowded. LOL

Although it's been a horrible year for me sailing wise, I did manage to complete a few projects and spend a few days out on the water with friends and then camping for a few days by myself.

Using go pro takes getting used to, lens is so wide angle it picks up fingers holding side of it to keep from dropping over side. Will work on it, but at least it reduces theft of photos because my prints are all over it.

A friend took these while we were all out watching Independence Day fireworks. I guess they don't have to be perfect to bring back great memories. I loved it when I heard someone on VHF refer to us as Clark Griswold.

Second time out since restoring our sailboat. Repairs made to fix seepage worked. Just learning and enjoying a day of sailing.

I did start a thread on the model a while back with different pictures and you probably saw them on that thread. I was hunting around for smaller size pictures to upload and this is one I came across. "Little Kellie Marie" sits nicely at home in the living room on a beautiful oak bookshelf where I can wistfully pass her by on my way to another day at work......

The closest that Stormwatch got to water this year, was on her trailer, beside the river, in storage.
