1980 H33 Sliding Hatch

over on the "Ask Any Sailor" forum(link below)? And I know I have read some things over the past several months, search the archives. Seems like replacing the plexiglas would be quite a project. Is your slightly curved like my H37C? Maybe a regular glass shop could make just the plastic part using yours as a template.

I replaced my sliding Plex

My sliding hatch started to look very bad after 20-yrs, so I took it off and disassembled it. Took the old piece of smoaked plexiglass to my friendly plastic dealer in town and they cut a piece the same size. I used all the old trim (for the most part)and reassembled it. Once I screwed the teak frame to the plex it took the curve shape without any problem. It has been on for one season, and has performed very well.
