Original Hunter sails (Johnson) that were on my boat as measured by North Sails Atlantic, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia -
Luff: 30' 7"
Leech: 28' 8"
Foot: 9' 2"
LP%: 8' 7"
Area: 140 sq. ft.
7 oz. dacron
Foot fastening (rope): 3/8"
Luff fastening: # 3 hanks (w/jackline on bottom 4 hanks)
I ended up going with a slightly smaller sail (120 sq. ft.) in 8 oz cloth with one reef point, as I use the sail as a heavy weather sail.
