    Cutlass Bearing for Beneteau 36cc

You need outer diameter and inner diameter – you can measure pretty effectively with a caliper. The old one is loose so should should slide right off. Remove the prop - not the shaft. Use lots of dish soap and you’ll get it in about 1/2 way by hand and use a mallet the rest of the way. The one...

Fellow sailors - calling on your expertise again : ) Pls see the attached pic. What is that thing, is it necessary? I realize what it does . . . but why would it have been installed? Anyone out there with a Bene 361 and a bowsprit? I'd be very interested in knowing what type of bowsprit gear (brand, pole length, pole diameter)...

Where to purchase stern rub rail cover

Hello all – thanks so much for the help you always provide! On the stern of my Bene 361 there’s rubber or PVC Rub rail. It covers the seam between the transom platform and the hull. Is in the shape of a very large smile. Mine is starting to get worn and I would like to replace. I found them on...

    Beneteau 361 Stanchions Loose

You have to look from the inside where the post is. For example, one of them is accessed behind the waste cover in the bathroom. I’ve heard from others that in some cases you need to remove some of the cabinetry molding.

    Replacing Hull Stripe

The one thing I learned was to not try to get every single bit of residual off with the eraser wheel. Get the decal/vinyl off with the eraser wheel, then I got the residual off with a little MEK

    Replacing Hull Stripe

eraser wheel / whizzy wheel. Keep the RPMs low, don't let it get hot. I just removed all my graphics and lettering - it was a breeze. This is one of the best tools for the job that I have ever owned. I purchased the Whizzy Wheel from Amazon and was happy with it.

    Beneteau 361 Stanchions Loose

Ron - do you have a pic to share? That sounds like a great idea. The previous owner docked at St Joe's in Michigan - the docks there are all piling-type. I do think that probably had a lot to do with the looseness of all the stanchions . . .
