Thanks, so far I really like the boat. I am currently only using the self-tacking jib so I can't really comment on the larger sails. The original owner installed the tracks and added the larger genoas. I'm not a racer so the self-tacker is perfect for me.

I have a couple of inches of standing water under the engine that is not draining into the bilge. Shouldn’t there be a drain to allow this water to enter the bilge?

It was originally in New York, then a few months in Florida. I had it shipped from Florida.

The PL259 connectors are sized for the type of cable. Hoping someone can tell me the size of cable they used on the Catalina 275 Sport. The boat I'm getting doesn't have a VHF or antenna installed.

I should be taking delivery of my new to me 275 in the next couple of weeks. I have read that there is antenna coax run in the mast. Does anyone know what size they used and if there is already a connector? I'm going to add an antenna and need to order the pl-259 connector. Thanks, Bill

I have a contract on a 275 that is currently in salt water and I will be putting it on a fresh water lake. Do I need to change the anodes to magnesium? Are these the only two?
