Hello all
So I purchased an arch for my boat that will hold solar panels as well as my dinghy. Need advise on hanging / securing the dinghy so as to get best rear visibility. Do you pull the boat all the way up and secure or leave it a little bit down to be able to see better? Love to see any...
Question..... how do you know the mixing elbow is not blocked? If it’s based solely on water flow you may want to open up and inspect the exhaust side. My last engine had full water flow however the exhaust side of the elbow was 80% blocked and caused somewhat similar conditions. Just a...

Sure you know this but when replacing get the marelon fittings not just the cheap plastic. UV kills the above water line fittings. It’s one of my projects for next year.
good luck

If you’re packed in so they have no access I think you have very limited options...... speak with the yard and arraign in the spring for them to move the blocks for you. Mean time get under there and do what you can so they can put the blocks in a place you have repaired. I know my yard would...
I have never had an issue with my engine intake clogging..... however at the end of every season clean all sorts of mussels and barnacles out from inside the strainer. Also as Maine says it’s easy to clean from the inside. On my ac intake it will clog after a couple of days as we are not...
So I am continuing my replacement of a few they hull fittings and seacocks. My engine has an external strainer....... what are the feelings of these. All previous boats did not have these and I see limited amounts in yard.
Thanks

A little smack to get it off the legs may be in order.... flip it over and you will see the "slides". Maybe a quick spray of McLube or another dry lube spray will give alittle help.
Enjoy!

Pull the table apart..... it will open. Might be tight if not done in a while. If you are having difficulties lift the table off the legs and work on it. Whole thing comes apart nicely. We keep the middle peice out. Table is plenty big and gives you more room.

Yes without a doubt wire reinforced.... Just started seeing so many different types (rubber/ silicon) when I went to purchase didn't know if there is a new preferred and thought I would ask. Sort of like the sanitary hoses..... changed from the traditional Trident to Raritan which is reported to...
Hello all, so replacing a few hoses and wanted to get recommendations for my engine cooling seawater intake hose. Current 1” wire reinforced trident.... was going to just replace with same however did a google search and loads of different hoses come up some with different colors.

Greg
Also consider beneteau parts store online. They still carry many parts for older models..... go to archives and choose your model number.

When extracting oil some extraction hoses fit tight in the dip stick hole leaving little room for air. I always open oil fill when extracting oil.
and as was said, did you make sure dip stick slid all the way down and rubber seat fit in tube?
good luck

when I’m anchored in 50 feet of water and a storm with heavy winds sticks around for two days. Easy to solve when you’re at the dock or home mooring. But I’m not planning to be
