    Funny noise from AB compressor

    my old AB compressor started making a loud rumble noise every 10 seconds or so whe it’s cooling. It still works bu annoying. Is. The fan or compressor going out. Putting my hand on the compressor it feels fine. Edit forgot to add it pulls 0.4 more amps when making the noise.

    thanks to replying to a question here I got offered a Ranger 12 at a good price. It’s complete (minus battons) with trailer and cover. I’ll have to do lost title for the trailer. Think I’ll take it on our next cruise south in place of the Rib. Now some love with sandpaper and epifins. Les

    A hammer is a good tool

    but not for crimping battery lugs. Don’t know how long this has been there but a hammer doesn’t make for good crimps!!! Found this when changing house batteries. It was on one of the cross ties between the 6V batteries. Now how many more are like this???
