    I will have to take a photo the next time I go to the boat. I had to change the foot out last Spring, so I now have a foot with several pre-fitted holes for blocks.

    So you don't even need a winch? I will try it first with the bringing it to a rope clutch. I can always decide to add a winch later, if needed, but I may not. Thanks!

    Hello; I found some old posts about running the main halyard on an 18.5 through a block at the base of mast, then through a deck organizer or cheek block to a cam cleat and winch. I can't find photos; does anyone have pictures of their rig? I don't want to take my winch off the mast, so I guess...

    Did you replace the foot? I am waiting on the parts to do the same thing. It looks like I have to cut a hole in the mast for a halyard exit.

    Exactly the same problem I just had, except I broke one of these rings. It sheared off.

    I broke the starboard ring off on mast foot, where pin slides through to secure it. Has anyone changed the mast foot? It appears to be riveded in. I'm not sure of best way to remove the rivets.
