These are not available any more. Other than replicating it at a machine shop, any ideas?

    Water in cabin

My 310 collects fresh water in the bilge after rain. Even on the hard right now. is that normal?

    Cabin Sole

Catalina put me in touch with the manufacturer of the sole. It’s basically a formica floor. They said once you’ve eaten through that outer veneer you’re pretty much screwed. I’m going to give the floor color markers a try....

    Cabin Sole

I don’t know, stains were there when I purchased the boat. I spilled some coolant in another location and didn’t wipe it all up and it looks just like these marks Maybe some sort of Teak treatmeant would help?

    Oil Pressure/Temp Alarm

Thanks Jesse, I've noticed that the connectors do have an impact on the volume of the alarm. Mine ran for 8 hours straight earlier in the season due to faulty oil pressure switch and thought this might have ruined its vocal chords...

    Aft Compartment Cabin Light

OK here’s the mystery of the week ... Rear compartment cabin light does not work. Same fixture as the ones in the head. Good voltage to the prongs and the switch works properly. Tried using the working bulbs from the head and none of them light up. Seems very strange no?

    Transmission Neutral Detent

I was able to get the part number off my OEM cables today. They are both 14’. Edson said they didn’t stock a 13’ Cable so they shipped the kits to Catalina with two 14’ cables. I will order 13’ for the transmission.

    Coolant in Engine Pan

I have noticed (as did the previous owner) an occasional small amount of coolant in the engine pan area after engine run. My rig is equipped with a recovery tank so no overflow. I removed the HX and had it cleaned/pressure tested OK. Inspected and replaced all engine hoses, even though no...

    Fuel Pump Filter?

My Racor is 30 micron but I'm switching to Universal recommendation of 10 micron. 2 micron should not be used.

    Fuel Pump Filter?

I found an 80 micron fuel filter rolling around the engine pan after I purchased my 310. There is also a new one in the Universal spare parts kit. There is a SB regarding this filter as well, mostly driven from the pump manufacturers I understand. I have a Racor primary and Universal secondary...

    Raymarine EV-1 Sensor Location

Previous owner replaced the original autopilot with the new Raymarine Ev- 100. BOE Marine in Maryland did the install and they mounted the EV-1 (heading) sensor just inboard of the Waste Tank discharge valve on the aft side of the bulkhead. It is within 1' of the engine/transmission. Specs...

    Transmission Neutral Detent

Looked at mine today. The throttle cable part number is visible (14’). The transmission cable part number is in the binnacle so I can’t see it. You have a 50-50 chance of seeing the part number depending on the how the original installer oriented the cable. The throttle cable end measures...
