    All thank you all for your input. What I did was pick up a 6m-1.00 tap move the slide down 8 inches drill two pilot holes, then increase holes Size and then tap. 6 bucks and 15 min later now looks like this. And now can get that 7 to 11 degree angle thanks again for all your input

    So I have a 2007 hunter 41 and need to replace the holding tank sending unit, I have the new sending unit which is the same length but the top looks different ( new is round with screw holes, old is hex and no screw holes). not sure how to remove the old one and hesitant till I get advice on...

    Not to doubt you but I think some of the bridge heights might me under a hunter 41 air draft of close to 65 feet when including the vhf antenna . I would make sure you check all bridge heights.
