Hunter 260 "Wide Load" Permit requirement

You can rent a pick up from haul one way. Much cheaper than having it hauled if your worried about using yours

Before you start tearing things apart my tohatsu has a small fuse holder under the cover on top of engine. Possible yours might have one too

    New to midsize forum

My name is Roger and I have a recently purchased hunter 33.5. I’ve had it about two months and have been working through some minor issues. Air leak in the fuel filter has been located and fixed. That was the biggest. I really like this boa I have an h26 that will have to go and have watched...

    Cockpit table receptacle

I made mine out of delrin. It’s not as hard as original and I don’t think it will crack. Seems to be working just fine.

    I need a measurement

My boat is here at the house. I’ll walk down to the shop and get that for you when the rain lets up a bit.. looks like 39 1/8 39 1/4 won’t hurt a thing

    Water ballast valve on H26

Well, I have done the valve reseal as rgranger suggested. After cleaning the valve surface and making a masking tape damn around seal I poured about 1 1/2 tubes of goop on the plate. It leveled nicely and appears to be a nice pliable seal. Took about 45 min. Thank you all for the help

    Water ballast valve on H26

Just crawled out from under. It is definetly welded. Short of jacking the boat up a split seems to be the best answer. Thanks

    Water ballast valve on H26

I am replacing the seal on the water valve on my H26. It’s on the trailer and I have let it down as far as the bunks will let it go. My question is the lower plate threaded or is it welded to the all thread. Threaded would make life much easier. Otherwise I think I will have to lift the boat...

I will probably only make to lake a couple more times before going to Iowa to spray for a month. Should be done by mid August there. After that my year will be complete and plenty of time to sail and try new things. I will look back at these posts and try a few things. Might even get brother in...

I’ll wait to raise the halyard on mast. Seems I get little time to sail as it is. Don’t want to spend it working on the boat. Dec and Jan I will have it home in heated shop with mast down. Best time for maintenance. Rog

I did have everything rigged outside. Probably the only part I got right. For now I think rigging the halyard above forestay will be first winter project. I didn’t try to use assym and headsail simultaneously bot had hoped I could roll out furler withe the sock down but not dropped. You are...

That is my thought as well. And let down asym before rolling out furler. Might find a crew as welll. Right now no crew. Just me.

Looks like I’ll have see what I can do this winter in the shop. Halyard is very close to forestay on mast. I might be asking to much to have asym raised in front of furler and be able to use both. For now I think I’ll put th asym away and get a good look at rig when I bring her home this winter...

Yes it is cdi. Previous owner said he only used assym once. For now I think I understand that. I’ll check tube. I didn’t say but this is an H26
