    I don't know why it posted multiple copies. The one with the wood inside is a fiberglass tank I build but then I decided I underbuilt it so I pulled it out. The other is a 27 gallon tank from Defender. You can see the aluminum tank edges and also the water tank to port in the first photo.

    There were two, equally distributed. The whole bottom of the tank was corroded away and not salvageable. I will look for pictures and post if I can find them.

    Right, I relined the water tank with a plastic bladder but for the fuel tank, I cut the top off and put in a stock tank. Someday I will custom build a tank to fit in the space. I don't think you can remove it in one piece due to it running below the seat by a few inches and b/c it seems to be...

    37CC prop size

    Thanks for the replies. The gearbox says A: 1.56 B:1.95. From what I read, A: is the forward gear. This is new to me, clearly.

    Mine had one in front of the engine. The previous owners built a larger engine cover that went all the way to the ladder and made a nice counter top for the galley!

    on my 37CC MKV, it is a metal post directly under the mast, next to the folding table in the salon. there is another one in the aft stateroom.

    Hi, I have a 1980 MKV with a Perkins 4108 engine and gearbox with a 1.56 reduction. The manufacturer tells me I should cruise at 3200 rpm, which is about where I hit a comfortable cruising speed.
