Just as a follow up. We went and stripped canvas off of the boat for the winter and tried to use the carriage (car) to douse the jib. Found out it is missing 4 bushings that hold the carriage on the foil and that is why it never worked. Now I just have to engineer something. If anyone has this system and input, I would appreciate it.
