These old diesels are no longer made amiright? Laser owners reduced to parts swapping?

I think the Bukh folks are still in business, but they don't make anything that small any more.. Their stuff is certified for lifeboat duty around the world..

You might want to contact them. Somewhere in the back of my mind there seems to be a thought that they may still support these old engines, but that might be just cob webs rattling around...

With the good, older out of production engines there is usually a shop that rebuilds and resells them and they may even carry parts. Since they are often custom made parts they may not be cheap, but they are certainly cheaper than a new engine.
I've always dreamed of having a Gardner engine and there is a guy named Joe McCool (no kidding) and he does the Gardner diesels. He may know some shop that does your engine.

Good luck.
