    SPLASH!

Sorry I missed it! I had to to run into Tulsa to take care of a project down there. She looks great though!

Mystery line (figured it out, thanks!)

Thanks, everyone. Turns out it was for the furling system. Why it was resting on the deck and not saddled in the furler I have no idea. That is again!

Thanks I appreciate the insight and will definitely check everything you listed. I did take a look at the chain plates for the stays from the cabin before I bought the boat and they look to be in good shape, however I'll be pulling them out for a closer inspection when I go to replace the...

Mystery line (figured it out, thanks!)

Hello, everyone. I have a line that runs around a single block (starboard stern) then forward through 3 sets of smaller blocks and wraps around the forestay at the deck. There's nothing attached to the line whatsoever. Anyone have any idea what it could be for? It's on an '82 C25 if that helps...

    SPLASH!

Sounds like a plan! I may not be out there tomorrow but I will be out there working over the weekend.

    SPLASH!

Congrats, Roadking Larry! Wish I could have been there to see it but I was washing cabin cushions all day.

She'll be coming out this fall for that very reason. I'm honestly dreading it but it's gotta be done. She's definitely spent a few winters in the water. I'm not so concerned about ice damage being in Oklahoma. I'm more worried about the infamous "Catalina smile".

I'm mostly going to be focusing on the deck hardware and hatches at first. Waiting on my order of butyl tape to show up. I will only be using the 5200 on places like where the decking meets the hull.

I managed to get everything pulled out of the cabin and started on the V berth the other day. Worked on cleaning the foam cushions yesterday and they're still drying today. I used a bleach cleaner with a Scotchbrite pad to get the mildew off, wiped it down with clean water and then went back...

New to me needs some work (advice)

Thanks, rgranger and Tally Ho. I honestly hadn't thought about pressure washing the cabin interior. Figured I'd just take the handle off of my deck brush and go at it with a bucket of bleach water. Although I think I need to do some work on the bilge pump before I get too carried away with water...

Thanks, Johnb. That's good advice for anyone. I remodel houses and campers for a living so I am familiar with the precautions needed when working with various chemicals.

No doubt. dlochner. Luckily I have a pressure washer already. I've also read the oxalic acid does wonders.

Thanks, Tom J. According to the marina she's got the bolt on fin keel.

Thanks, Terry Cox. Also good advice and I plan on doing that just as soon as she's sitting in a cradle on land.

Thanks, dlochner. Sound advice. She's floating and won't be leaving the slip for a while yet. I forgot to mention that I'll be sleeping aboard over the weekends and any other consecutive days off since the marina is so far from my home in Tulsa. Priority number one for me is clearing all the...
