Back in the Sweet Spot. Lots of hard work, but boy is it worth it! And I learned a lot. Thanks to all the good advice from my friends at SailboatOwners.com.

I moved the batteries from the starboard area to a plank i mounted athwartships. I attached to the two runners in the hold by tabbing it in with strips of epoxy soaked fiberglass cloth. then used lashing and staps to secure the battery boxes to the board.

The main components of my new cabin lights. I used boat cable, brass tone lights, and marine grade heat shrink connectors. I could not afford the LED, but hope to upgrade lamp by lamp as time goes by.

ready to install a footpump in the galley sink. My wife loves it. It is a big improvement over the hand pump that came stock on the boat.

The hatch that D & R sent me for my boat did not fit. It was a mistake from the supplier. After much confusion and wrangling they took it back. I ended up going with the bomar hatch, which still required a modification, but liked the results.

one of my many mistakes, when i reattached the winch, i put too much 42oo under it and it oozed up into the works, i had to remove them and clean them out and then reattach them, correctly this time!

A nice list of the products used to finish. I did use cabott brand of polyurethane instead of miniwax on the interior (the second time). I just was not happy with the miniwax finish. Cabott seems much better; smoother and stronger.
