Sailing to Block Island from Warwick Rhode Island after purchasing the boat from the original owner in July 2008. 320 hours on the engine at time of purchase.
Free Ride is a 2000 Catalina 30 (hull # 6438). Only 16 more Catalina 30s were built. After my upgrades were completed, Free Ride is equipped with the following options: Adler Barbour CU-100 Freezer / Refridgeration, Cruiseair 12,000 BTU Air Conditioning with reverse cycle heat, Windlass with 50 ft chain, Full canvas package with window in connector canvas, Ray Marine instruments, Radar, Autopilot, C70 Color chartplotter, LG 23 inch HDTV, LG 1080P DVD player, Sony Stereo CD / MP3, 3000 watt inverter, Flush mounted Contour 700 Watt Microwave, Ultraleather settee / foot stool / hatch board bag, Propane gas grill, Interchangeable custom companionway doors (teac and starboard), Cockpit cushions, Wooden door enclosed forward cabin, Privacy curtain for aft cabin, Wall to wall carpet, Imtra LED lighting, LED Navigation Lights, Holding and Water tank monitors, Battery system monitor, Cockpit shower. Heater Craft Hydronic heating system, PSS Shaft seal, Xantrex battery charger with remote monitor, 28 Watt Solar panels, Lifesling with Sunbrella cover, Suede covered wheel, Digital TV antenna on top of the mast. Converted head to 12 volt electric and repositioned head for more space. Recessed Imtra LED lamps in ceiling, Raised splashguard with ceramic tile in galley, ceramic tile in bathroom.
