That is way cool. Did the wiring harness for the mast run through your old wood block and up through the mast support column? Just wondering where the wiring harness comes through and if I have to notch the top plate of the new jack post around it to have some good surface area on my top plate. Does your shower pan have the same amount of support? finally is the tube you cut galvanized? I may go this route. Good Job!!
Thanks, I have the dinette style salon so the wiring comes out of the compression post in the settee and the into the bilge. The shower pan does not appear to be supported. All hardware is stainless except the top plate and that is aluminum.
i have to ask where you found the nuts, bolts and especially the tubing for your post repair. also if the pieces are available for purchase. how thick is the bolt? any other details? thanks
