A nice list of the products used to finish. I did use cabott brand of polyurethane instead of miniwax on the interior (the second time). I just was not happy with the miniwax finish. Cabott seems much better; smoother and stronger.

The hatch that D & R sent me for my boat did not fit. It was a mistake from the supplier. After much confusion and wrangling they took it back. I ended up going with the bomar hatch, which still required a modification, but liked the results.
one of my many mistakes, when i reattached the winch, i put too much 42oo under it and it oozed up into the works, i had to remove them and clean them out and then reattach them, correctly this time!

Tools of the trade, ratchet crimper, stripper, and marine grade connectors. Well worth the investment. Doing it right will help reduce those pesky hard to track down wiring problems. The project also gets you intimately acquainted with marine electrical systems. It helps that i took basic wiring and electricity as an elective in highschool and college. But still don casey's sailboat electrics book was very helpfull and anyone could do it. You just need three hands!
