Finally back in the water. The new pedestal, navpod, and table dress up the cockpit. The cream non-skid paint should reduce the glare.

About 17 months after haulout the hardware is reinstalled on the two-tone Perfection deck paint. New hardware included rope clutches, deck organizers, portlights, pedestal, NavPod, and complete rebuild of winches and hatches. A separate album includes details on the hatch overhaul including thicker lenses and replacement of crappy Bomar parts with home-made stainless parts. All exterior wood was replaced with artificial grey wood (Home Depot) for a significant reduction in maintenmance.
8/4/07 Mike sanding and grinding away the old bottom paint. It was obvious when we looked below the waterline that we had blister issues so we decided to go to bare fiberglass and work up from there. Notice the ingenious milk jug counterweights to offset the weight of the sander. Young men use their brawn...old men use their brain.
7/27/07 Looking pretty sad as she's pulled from the water to start the transformation that would take more than a year.
