I'm in the process of making a new enclosure for my boat. I'm using vinyl coated polyester scrim for the fabric since I prefer to glue rather than sew it. (I am an experienced seamster but I find glueing easier and I like the waterproofness of the vinyl fabric). Most zipper have nylon edges which require sewing them in. I'm curious as to whether zippers with vinyl edges exist so they can be glued in. Some preliminary searches haven't revealed any so I'm wondering if anyone here has run across any zippers like this.
