Are there zinc's in the hot water heater? Do we need to worry about them like shaft and heat exchanger zinc's? We launched the boat in March and have replaced the shaft zinc's already. The harbor is pretty"hot". Thanks!

Zinc's in Wtr Htr

Ron, I don't know if your Water Heater has a zinc in it but, if it does you should monitor it just like your water heater at home. The zinc in a home water heater is a sacrificial anode that will deteriorate rather than attack the inside of the water heater which will lead to its failure. Any questions e-mail me at any time.
