Zincs for hunter 33 yanmar 29hp engine???

I just purchased 2 months ago, a 2005 H33 with the yanmar 3 cl. engine, that's the one with 29 hp. I'm in the process of going thru the manuals to make up my "to do"checklists, I know to replace the zincs on the drive train and prop, my friends who have other Yanmars also tell me to replace the "pencil zincs" on[in?] the motor. the Yanmar manual nor the Hunter manual don't show any.
How do I protect my engine or is it protected another way?

No zincs on fresh water cooled Yanmars.

Check with Boatswains Locker (Your Yanmar Dist in So. Cal.).

Steve , thank you very much for the info referal, I called boatswain's locker and the answer is " the yanmar 3 cyl. engine DOES NOT HAVE OR NEED zincs as it was made from materials that are compatible enough. The engine is and was always intended for marine use and is not one that was marineized(sec).
