I am most interested in finding out what the experiences have been with ZF 10 transmissions. Performance, reliability, good or bad. And secondly has anyone here had experience with Technodrive TMC 40 transmissions? I have purchased a Nanni 3.21 21hp engine to repower my 1979 Hunter 30 and it didn't’t come with a transmission or adaptor plate. It is a bobtail version. So I am in process of trying to find an adaptor plate (SAE5), I believe.
Then I have to make a transmission choice. I can get a much better price on the ZF 10 than I can on the Technodrive. So, any opinions? Also looking for a prop recommendation to handle the new power.
