Finally got out to the boat to flush the engine with antifreeze, remove the genoa and put the winter cover on. It was 35 degrees and I couldn't get her to start for love or money. No glow plugs on my 2QM15 and she didn't even show signs of life. I had a spare container with diesel in it and it looked pretty viscous. I even tried pulling the battery from my pickup. I did spin the water pump enough to get about 2/3 of my usual amount into her. I will wait for a warmer day with a freshly charged battery and try again.

Supposedly it's going to be in the 40's Thursday here in NJ, so I'm hoping for the best and unreading this in my mind. I also have to investigate why I couldn't get my trans in gear to get to the lift. Squeezing in tight places is not my forte. :)
Good warm day fortunes to you.

Unfortunately

We will be in Cancun M-Sa  We extended the long weekend an extra week.

Regarding your transmission. It seems awful easy to melt the cable sheathe. I hope it is a simple fix.
