Does this bother anyone else? The blower on my Yanmar, which essentially vents the hot air behind the engine, is wired in series with the ignition key. That means that it only runs when the engine is running (and producing heat), or when you kill the engine but leave the key on, which we all know produces an extremely annoying beeping. We sleep in the aft cabin, and my mate has her head on the other side of the bulkhead behind the engine, and it can be really hot, even hours after the engine is shut off. If I could run the blower independently it would go a long way to getting rid of that heat more quickly. Haven't tried to look at the wiring yet...not an electrical specialist...but I guess a rewire is the only solution. Any thoughts?
