WitzEnd is in the soup now. We launched her Friday after the yard monkeys got the travel lift stuck in the mud and motored ~3 hrs from the Northeast river around Turkey Pt. and up the Elk to our Mooring.
All seems ok, no more clank, no vibration, runs smooth. After all I have been through with her... the damper plate, mis-aligned strut, cutlass bearing, it was good to see some fruit for my labors. I guess only time will tell if my unorthodox fixes are good.
Also, now have some tunes aboard, Kenwood CD/Radio w/polyplaner speakers under the rail seats. All the speaker wiring was already installed so it was pretty easy. Haven't figured where to mount the cabin speakers yet.
No big plans for adventure, will stay local till she proves herself.
