Does anyone use a whisker pole when sailing w-o-w? Even with a 135 headsail, it looks like the forward shroud will get in the way. And putting the pole between the shrouds isn't a viable option. Any ideas? Thanks.

I use a whisker pole on my 309-no problem. I simply place it in front of shroud, giving plenty of sheet, then use the off side sheet to forward cleat to hold it down. Not perfect but works well. Also use preventer on boom.
