Winch Handle For The Mast (Main Sail)

I was pulling in the mainsail on the 309 last week and the black line spun off of the winch (on the mast). I tried the winch handle and it doesn't fit. Did anyone get a different winch handle for it. What a pain that was to pull in the main using the winch and no handle.

I tried my winch handle on the furling winch on my mast and it fit with out a hitch. I can't imagine what the problem could be. Perhaps you could email Selden.
