Why do some Mac 26M's have a Blue Hull and others are White?

New to Macgregors. Just wondering why some have Blue Hulls and others don't?

Some prefer blue and are willing to pay extra for it.

When I bought Freedom, you get hull in white, dark blue, light blue, yellow, red, green and black. Also non skid in any color. Freedom has white hull, light blue sheer strip, with light blue non skid. Hind sight being 20/20 I should have gotten non skid white. even a light shade of blue on Lake Mead gets warm.

Ok thank you everyone! Wasn't sure if it was a limited edition. I personally like the look of the blue but there are not many used ones in my area and the ones that are are usually in the 26m version. A little bit more than this newbee wannabe sailor wants to spend until I know I am fully committed. Looks like I am gonna pick up a 26x with lots of mods this time around.

DS - Also, anything darker than white will fade or oxidize over time. Just sayin'

The 'Blue' M owners on the other site are sure that their boats sail faster than the 'White' ones ......
