Venture 23 - missing forestay?

Hello! I am a new boat owner and new to the site. Thank you everyone for all the great info.

I am having a problem stepping my mast and getting her rigged -- I don't seem to have a forestay. I can't tell from other images/articles about the Mac 23 whether there is a forestay that goes from the top of the mast to the bow, or if the two forward stays for the two jibs are enough. These two don't go to the top of the mast, so I am concerned...

Any advice would be great. Thank you!

Welcome. Your new boat has what is most likely a "fractional" rig, meaning the forestay only reaches up to where the shrouds attach, usually.

Google Venture 23. Forward forestay is masthead rigged. Any pics of your yatch so we, the collective, (Borg) can see what she looks like. Resistance is futile
