Tidying up the engine doghouse

While I have the transmission separated from my Yanmar so I can replace my flywheel ring gear, I thought I'd clean up the deck underneath. It's not bad, but I am going to degrease the space.
It there an absorbent mat material I can put in after it is clean? Something removable that I could clean every so often? It's probably about 18" by 24"

3M Oil Absorb pads. They are 17x 19 x 1/4. You can overlap to get the size you need.
