Thinking of buying a new rudder blade

I've searched the forums for information about replacement rudders for my 1983 Macgregor 25 and really haven't found anything except RudderCraft
which seems to be good quality. They have 2 options.
Does anyone have experience with them or are there other options I should consider? Would appreciate some input.

I ordered mine from them they are pretty good .
Yet I didn't need it mine is for 1994 26s I think I paid around $400

rudder craft is the most dependable supplier out there, but you can build your own if you have the tools.
its not a difficult task and much cheaper, but takes some time to fit, shape and finish it...

I have considered doing that exact same thing.. although more at the top and a bit less at the bottom.
mine has a good balance as long as I reef when I should, but when a gust hits, the rudder could use a bit more help.
adding more foil area and more trim requires more strength and that leading edge helps on all points...
