Years ago I was talking with Steve and mentioned I had bought his Learn to Sail VHS. He said, "So YOU'RE the one that bought it"?

My grandfather!! He had a K38 when I was in Jr High. (Late 60s) Then sold it and bought a Spencer 42 that I sailed on alot. A little racing and a lot of cruising in the Salish Sea. So, I skipped the dinghy phase except he had a 9’ Ranger Minto that I sailed in Puget Sound and did some things with I shouldn’t have. Later in life, I had my(our) own boat and had fune meeting up with him.
