No doubt you have the connections Michael. I emailed Joan on Saturna about the Lamb Bake. She wanted to know the detective agency I was using. I did not drop you name I was going with what happens on Saturna stays on Saturna......

But I may have to reconsider if there is no Pastrami on les’s boat on April 6th. Not that I would casually throw you under the bus. But it is Pastrami... And very good Pastrami.

O.K. With threats like that I'll cry "Uncle". Just might be worth getting thrown under the bus for though.

I am pleased you came to your senses. I would hope there is plenty of that delicious meat to go around. I guess it depends on how many new friends Les makes up there in the Land of the North.

Mahalo is a sailboat again!!!! They have lifelines to do and lock down the turn buckles again bus the Genoa is back up and sheets are on.

I’ll stay here till Thursday when I meet @Stu Jackson for a trip to Roche and customs. I don’t know if I can stay in this slip or if I need to move to transient docking. I check in the AM. Looking forward to seeing @Michael Davis and his admiral tomorrow.

It doesn’t get better than this. All new lifefines and standing rigging much less than expected, drinking wine and waiting for tomorrow’s sail with good friends. Music, and watching the fire.

God I’m lucky!! To be here and to have an understanding partner who let me.

Watching a fire. The last time you did that the dinghy on the deck got a hole in it.
Where is the dinghy?

New propane enclosures are very nice.

A safe dinghy even better.

A fire in the stove can warm the room and the heart. Great ambiance.

Well my fridge is dead, not sure if it’s the fan or compressor. Sounds horrid - woke me up at 2am. I’ll get ice in Roche but will probably head home earlier than planed.

Well, that sucks. Any chance dry ice can help you make it through the trip?

It turned out to be a 12v 4” muffin fan - which is exactly the one I have to cool the Dickinson exhaust pipe. What are the chances??? Already in and cooling. Freezer is down 3 degrees already.
The dilemmas of cruising, warm beer and warm cabin or cold beer and cold cabin? The trials and tribulations of life on the water. :what::beer:

The weather forecast was wrong, it's simply lovely, sun shining, high 60s.

I left MBM at 0852, arrived here at 1315.

Time for a hot shower on board and then we go hide the pastrami. :) Got any Grey Poupon?
