Standing rigging diameter Catalina 25

I just sold my C22 and have made a deal on a 1984 Catalina 25 , I'm looking to purchase a loos gauge for tensioning the rigging , for my 22 I had the PT-1 what would the rigging diameter be on the 25 ? I can't seem to find it on line , I did see one reference to the upper shrouds being 3/16" if that is the case wouldn't the stays be the same ?

Yes, it should all be the same diameter and 3/16 is the next size up from 1/8.

Which is why I continue to recommend reading the Catalina manual for your boat. Every single Catalina Yacht with a single spreader rig has an EXCELLENT rig tuning guide, no loos gauges needed. Ever. I have been sailing Catalinas since 1983 and have never need a gauge.

Then go with 3/16 overall, its a 1/32 difference (increase) for the lowers and the weight/cost diff is negligible.
