ST 4000+

I have an ST 4000+ control head. Sent it to Ray to test. Received this...

Display failure. LCD burned/faded. Unit works when + & - buttons are pressed.

Kinda contradictory; "display failure" and "unit works". I have no way of testing it myself.

They probably mean that the LCD display is burned and faded and therefore you can't see the information that is suppose to be shown. The LCD display can fail yet the control head can still be functional. For example, the control head may be able to hold a heading but you won't know what that heading is.
