No matter where I put the spinnaker halyard, it would still wind around the jib fuller. So in order to move the block back as far as possible on the crane, I just looped the halyard behind the spreader and that has solved the problem.
Thanks all for your replies.once I assembled mine I was able to visualize the problem. In m situation I think I might be able to lower my whole furling unit an inch or so closer to the deck. Once done I'll post my results
