The boats that sparkle in my harbor every spring, are the oldest. Old wooden boats, thanks to a few cans of varnish and enamel, are the boats that look brand new every spring.

Spoon Bow-def: an overhanging bow of a ship whose underside is somewhat spoon-shaped.

Love the Maine pics and stories, my son was born in Brunswick and I worked at Bath Iron Works. I got hooked on sailing with friends in Maine, always liked helping out, never realized the work of the owner till this year when we bought our first boat, a O'Day 25.
