Shower Sump filter

Thanks to all that offered advice on my shower sump filter. I found the filter beneath the sink and after removing a ton of hair and stinky stanky bleech I cleaned the housing and filter and voila'...the sump pump drains the shower quickly. Only one question remains. Is it common that the pump seems quite loud inside and outside of the boat?

It's probably bolted to something fiberglass? That acts as a soundboard. Get longer bolts/screws and use some pieces of rubber hose as sound insulaters.

Yup, but Ron had the answer. Simple.

Ron - That's good advice thanks. I'll make some rubber mounts. Right now it's mounted directly to a glassed in wood mount.
