Shaft Seal Bellows Hose Clamps

Found some water under the shaft seal on the boat last night, sponged it up and it kept filling back up. Seal looked good, decided to check the bellows hose clamps, see if they've loosened up a little from vibration or whatever. Screw head snapped off the first one with hardly any torque, second one just fell off, then the third. Managed to replace two of them, can't get to the bottom of the third with vise grips.
The shaft seal is new in the last five years, I try to never leave salt water in the bilge under the shaft. There might be an issue with the hose clamps that came with the PYI seal. You might check yours if you have a PYI shaft seal.
And the water was coming from a leak on the swim platform shower hose not the shaft seal.

I put super lube on the shaft and spray lube on the clamps and no rust or corrosion.

Read somewhere this type of hose clip not suited for boat use. The holes of the thread makes it weak and prone to rust breakage. Use the type with raised threads but no holes.
