Seeking recommendation for 2000 Hunter 320

I am looking to purchase a windlass for my Hunter 320. Because of the design of the anchor locker - the chain and line needs to feed forward. Any suggestions?

By this do you mean the chain and line must run forward to the bow and then into the water? Normal for most boats!

Or that your concern is for the chain to fall forward (do a 180 turn) after coming aboard the boat? Accomplished using a vertical windlass.

Is your layout something like this? This is what I installed in our '99 H-310.

I think your h320 is very similar to my h326. The chain has to fall forward. The Lewmar windlass has a modified base plate that allow chain to fall forward. I believe Al, Phil or Dave on this Site will he able to help.
