Roller Screen for Forward Hatch

Had an awesome weekend on the boat and at one point I put the screen up in the V-Berth Lewmar hatch and the wife mentioned it would be nice to get one of those roller screen/shade she has seen at the boat show. I did a little googling and found the following:

Has anyone done this and if so which one did you go with and is there anything I should look out for? Thanks

I added 2 Ocean units one in veeberth and main cabin and love just sliding the screen or shade but mostly use the screen best thing ever added and those screens from the factory what a pain
and going to go one for rear berth soon.

I really want to put one of these in the main berth but just can't bring myself to spend the money. But seeing the $150 price in encouraging. They were $250 when I first started looking at them.

The OEM screen makes opening and closing the hatch in the V-berth a royal PITA. It may be worth $150 to swap it out if one is available that fits.

Our solution cost about $20. We got a piece of screen and some velcro from Home Depot. Used the factory screen as a template, sewes the screen to the velcro and then put the other side of velcro on the hatch trim piece where the metal screen would sit.

The Annapolis Boat Show is just about a month away. One more reason to go.

OK what is the trick to removing the old plastic bezel on the bottom of the hatch. I looked at it last night and tried to remove it without success as I did not want to break or tear the head liner.

Update: No luck at the boat show. Spoke to one of the Catalina sales folks and she recommended we go to West Marine. Need to look at boat again as we may be hosed. I know our hatch is not square and the Lewmar and West Marine sites are less than helpful on dimensions.

Nick, Do you have a model number? Did not see Zarcor this year in Annapolis as I always buy some stuff from them.
